I found a corrupt .fll file.
It had 0kb. Had to restore it from the backup. It was the first filter in my scripts...so the others would fail.
Now it all works. But it is strange, I thought I had tried to open other .fll files from the explorer with the error.
Anyway, it is working now.
Thank you

Re: Command line problem in Windows 8.1
I just want to be clear. In addition with having problems calling TextPipe from the command line, I can not even double-click a filter(.fll) file to load it automatically upon launching TextPipe. What happens is that TextPipe launches but it gives me the error and the filter does not load. I can ope...

Command line problem in Windows 8.1
I just upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and TextPipe won't load filters from the command line. So my scripts don't work. I went ahead and downloaded the most recent version to see if it was some incompatibility with Windows 8.1. It did not helped. I get this message: "There was a problem ...

Split Files - Specifying file names
I manage to split the input file where I want it. The only thing that I am missing is to be able to assing the filenames based on text within each section. I have tried a named variable, but it eludes me. The report is something like this: Report ID: 12345 PAGE 1 BANK NO. 0000123 TEAM NO. 000 RECONC...

ASCII Signed Numeric like Zoned Decimals from EBCDIC
we have these values: 002527} 0024763 002349Q 002052} 0019258 001645K 001237B 004567J The file is ASCII but these numbers are signed like zoned decimals from EBCDIC conversion. How can we convert these numbers? I see that TextPipe has something for this but I think it converts it only from EBCDIC. A...

Formatting Currency and Numbers
I have a CSV file that have some currency fields. These fields do not have the dollar ($) sign or comma (,) for separating thousands. I want to be able to tell TextPipe to format those numeric fields with currency symbol and thousands separator (comma). And also would be nice to have the option of s...

Ok, I made it! Instead of using the Capture Text filter aproach, I used a Perl Pattern Replace filter to find the first line of the current input text and asigned it to a Named Variable. I replaced it with nothing. Then I added an Add Header filter as a subfilter with the SQL Select statement with r...
