In addition to removing HTML and XML how about removing the scripts which may take many lines of code. Once the HTML is remove - alot of script left over is left.

What is usually left are lines between the script header/footers.

I used the remove HTML filter, now I am left with text
that include hardspaces &<char>; and other color formatting etc...

How do I still further clean up this html to mostly readable text?
