Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

I've sent another support request on, and I have TightVNC installed. I'm just waiting on coordinating a time.

Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

That would work fine. I'm available anytime 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5. I've sent an email to Data Mystic support, but I still haven't received the extension notification email. I sent the request on Friday, the 30th of April. Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Ward

Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

No, Excel is installed locally. I've killed the excel.exe processes when the RPC error appears, and it still has the same issue. Excel doesn't have any problems opening the files normally, just when it's prompted by Excelpipe. I've reinstalled Excel and it has the same problem. I'll email support fo...

Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

Unfortunately, my trial ran out, so I can't get Excel pipe to reproduce the error without some sort of extension. However, I can summarize the error. On the search and replace screen, after Excelpipe lists the files it finds in the directory, and launches Excel to change the links, it reports an err...

Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

Excel 2007, Service Pack 2 for Office. The webserver keeps blockigng the epp attachments from Excel pipe when I attach them to this post. The excel files I'm using for testing are confidential data, so I can't attach or email them due to security reasons.

Re: Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

Yes it is. It's also the URL of the Sharepoint portal. I have it mapped in Windows Explorer to go straight to the site. For some additional information, Excelpipe does find the Excel files using this UNC path. It just failes to invoke Excel properly to edit and update the links.

Sorry, I flipped the backslashes around. I still receive the same error message.

Excel Pipe fails to open password protected spreadsheets

Good afternoon. I'm trying to use the latest version of ExcelPipe to replace links on several Excel spreadsheets. These spreadsheets are located on a Sharepoint 2007 Server document library, and the cells are password locked to prevent changing the forumla as well as the links to other spreadsheets....
