Re: Possible Bug in Mainframe Copybook Filter

SImon,

The latest version (9.1) fixed the problem and FILLER fields are now being removed from the OCCURS sections as well. TextPipe Pro 9.1 is wonderful; it _almost_ makes working with COBOL data files enjoyable! ;-)

Thanks!!

Simon,

Any chance of a 9.0.1 release to fix this in the near future? Otherwise I'll probably have to work around for now. Obviously I wish I had found this before 9.0 was released...

Thanks!

Re: Possible Bug in Mainframe Copybook Filter

Thanks! I'll eagerly await 9.1 so I don't have to change all my downstream processing code.

Possible Bug in Mainframe Copybook Filter

I am using the mainframe copybook filter to convert mainframe data files to tab-delimted files, and I am using the option to remove "FILLER" fields from the ouput. This seems to work great for the base or fixed portion of the record, but the FILLER fields aren't being removed from the &quo...

Out of memory error using mainframe copybook as a subfilter

I have a number of mainframe files that I want to convert in a single batch using the AWESOME "Mainframe Copybook Filter" in TextPipe Pro. The files have a bunch of different formats, but I can easily determine the format from the filename so I can use the right copybook filter. My filter ...
