Hi Simon, The first three bytes of the file are indeed EF BB BF. Looking at the help for the Remove Unicode BOM filter it says: This filter removes the Unicode Byte Order Mark from the start of Unicode files, if it is present EF BB BF UTF-8. Annoying UTF8 signature

Although I've read in this forum that UTF8 does not need a BOM since there's only one order, Microsoft Office XP and up annoyingly puts a BOM in each UTF8 file it creates. I had hoped I could remove these using TextPipe Pro, but they're still there afer I use the Remove BOM filter. Is there some oth...
