Hi,

Totally new to this and hoping for a reply.

I have 2 excel sheets

sheet1 has a column of reference numbers like t12345
sheet2 has a column of reference numbers like df3srt12345hgfd4

is there anyway to find what cells in sheet2 contains within the reference number in sheet1 and replace it or create a new column beside it with the sheet1 reference.

Hope I have explained properly
