making a CSV file?

Post by Sofia »

I've connected to an MS Access database with datalink and password.
When writing SQL queries in trial input and setting some filters it shows the right result in the trial output after pressing trial run button.

But how do I make a CSV file with the trial output result?
Can't figure out how to make the settings for this.

Hi Sofia,

You have two options:
1. Put the actual query in a text file, and specify that text file as the input file.

Or, Better,

2. With the Input Filter (the second one), set the Input to come from the Trial run area. Make sure you set the output filter to the filename you want.

Also, you can right-click the Trial Output to save to a file.
