Version 10.8 has new ribbons design, with the following ribbon names:
Home
Export
Debug and Automation
Tools & Window
Help
File Grid
NB. The latter is hidden at first and also disappears whenever Step 2 is selected.
The ribbons design change was not announced in What's new in TextPipe v10.8 and is also not reflected in the respective Help pages.
btw. One of the options in Tools & Window is called Customize Task Menu.
There is no Help page for this option.
When I clicked it, a new empty text file was created called C:\Users\David\Documents\DataMystic\TextPipe\TaskMenu.
What's this file for?

Customize task icon -
Opens Windows Explorer at C:\Users\[username]\Documents\DataMystic\TextPipe\TaskMenu - any filters placed here will be available in TextPipe's taskbar icon right-click menu.
