Hi helpdesk,
I've got problems using the filter 'Convert from UTF-8 to ASCII' filter. While using the Trial area my input is 'Hi, my name is Mats Sörensen'. As output I get 'Hi, my name is Mats Srensen', so the ö is removed instead of being replaced with an o.
Can you help me?
Convert UTF-8 to ASCII

Hi Mats,
The Trial Run area can only display ANSI or UTF016LE Unicode (not UTF-8), so when you paste your text it is converted behind the scenes to ANSI before processing, which throws away the 'ö'. If you work with a UTF-8 file instead then you will find it works just fine.

Try converting to ANSI, not ASCII.
