TextPipe 8.0 File | Sendto option causes popup error message
Selecting the Send to... option under the File menu causes a popup error message, Invalid class string.
This feature seems to be undocumented. A search for "Send to" in the Help gave no clues.

File | Sendto error message.
Yes - I did nothing special, first I uninstalled the previous v7.9.5, then installed v8.0 of TextPipe Standard. The error message is repeatable.
System is Windows XP on Acer Aspire 5630. The XP Media Edition is fully patched with all the relevant security patches from Microsoft.
What is this menu option supposed to do?

File | Send to & Email clients
Looks like this feature is intended to perform a similar task to Windows Context menu | Sendto | Mail recipient
Would it not be better to launch the current user's email client rather than one particular client?
I don't use Outlook for email, though it may possibly be installed by default in WinXP. I'll check when I get home. My preferred email client is Eudora, which I've been using for 11 years.

Simon,
In Windows, isn't this a call that can be passed to sendmail.dll ?
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1915207013-2615040368-3076929458-30363\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache
has for Sendto Mail Recipent
@sendmail.dll,-4
Which application it gets sent to is presumably set elsewhere in the registry, as per the Internet Properties | Programs tab.
