Add left margin, different text for each line from a file?

Is there any way that TextPipe can add left margin, by inserting text from an external file, such that each successive insertion comes from the next line of the external file?

Clearly it is possible to
(a) add line numbers, then
(b) replace the line numbers using an external list file

However, for long files this method is exceedingly inefficient. It took TextPipe over 45 minutes to process a file of 30,078 lines long.

If the answer is "No", then please consider this as a feature request.

Is this a TextPipe Pro feature, or available in Standard too ?
