Where is the List & Description of all the Pre-Made Filters?

Post by pheagila »

Hi all,

Where is the List & Description of all the Pre-Made Filters that come with TextPipe Pro ??

i.e. \TextPipe\3rd party\generate google keywords.fll

When you load this filter, there is NO description of:

a) What type of input file is expected?
b) What is the resultant output file contains?
c) What specifically does this filter do?

I would have thought that this type of information is pretty basic stuff to supply to a user

BTW: I looked at the help file and didn't see anything in there either !!

Cheers

Most filters have basic comments.

This one takes a list of keywords such as 'my keyword list' and generates this:

Code: Select all

[my keyword list]
"my keyword list"
[my list keyword]
"my list keyword"
[keyword my list]
"keyword my list"
[keyword list my]
"keyword list my"
[list my keyword]
"list my keyword"
[list keyword my]
"list keyword my"
ie all match types and all word orders for those keywords.

thanks DataMystic Support HOWEVER what would be really good is if:

DataMystic creates a LIST of ALL Pre-Made Filters with a Description:

a) What type of input file is expected?
b) What is the resultant output file contains?
c) What specifically does this filter do?

I should not have to ask for this, this should be standard !! (i.e. comments in code is 101)

Sure. Most filters have sample text in the Trial Input (this one did not, but does in the new 8.1.8 release). For most filters the results are self evident but I take your point.
