phpBB SPAM

This board is getting too much SPAM from nefarious members, some of whom are posting very offensive material.
These members should be banned, and their topics or comments deleted.

Currently the board is not using the latest release of phpBB. Upgrading phpBB to version 3.0.5 may improve security in this respect.

If that doesn't solve the problem, there may be patches available from phpBB experts that can reduce the problem to more manageable proportions.
