full-width spaces, letters, numbers, symbols

Hello everybody. I use TextPipe software encountered a problem. This is the search for Replace function to find content to fill the full-width spaces, letters, numbers, symbols and the like, and then replace, but some garbled text.

Example:

Search: "　" (full-width space)

Replace: " " (half-width space)

Prior to processing: 才可能给这个遥控器起名字，并使用这个遥控器！”不然，你觉得 Flash Player 能怎么做呢？遥控器连名字都没有，Flash Player 怎么找到并操作它呢

Processed: 才可能给这个遥控器起名字，并使用这个遥控器 辈蝗唬憔醯? Flash Player 能怎么做呢？遥控器连名字都没有， Flash Player 怎么找到并操作它呢

Examples of text there is no full-width spaces, and this statement is independent of the software Queba abruptly to replace, and there have been some garbled.

You can tell me that this is why?

Did you use the Unicode Search/Replace filter on a UTF-16 file?
Or the Perl Regex option (with UTF-8 mode enabled) on a UTF-8 file?
