Maintain a list in a seperate file

Hi,

I am creating a file containing HTML tables, but to make it easier to add the list of tables to an index at the top of the document, I am trying to create a seperate file with just the name ($1) of each table created, with the intention of making them into hyperlinks to each table of info.

So after all that, the question is:

Can I output a single variable ($1 etc) to one file and multiple variables from the same match (10+ variables) to another file?

Hi Tom,

Not quite sure from your description, but the method is to use a Filters Menu\Special\Secondary Output Filter as a subfilter to extract the data to a new file. Check the help on this filter for more details.
