New filter proposal: Math Calculation

Is there any reason that there is no Math Calculation filter?

A Math Calculation filter would take any number (positive,negative, decimal) as input and run it through a formula.
It would have two input fields, formula and decimal precision. It could be even more powerful if it would accept macros .

I know this can be done with the VBScript filter...but moving a simple task out of the scripting filter would be helpful to all.

It would be easy to convert 30 degrees F to C.

Hi - we finally added this just in time fro the v9.0 release - out now!

You'll find it under Convert\Calculation - you need to use this new filter inside a restriction.
