Siri for diabetes - voice to text for entering data

Post by DataMystic Support »

The latest Android release of PredictBGL understand a set of commands for entering BGL values on the Add Log screen.

The commands it is currently designed to understand are:

Blood sugar nnn
blood glucose nnn
sugar nnn
glucose nnn
bgl nnn
bg nnn

The number (nnn) can be spoken before or after the word. ie 16.6 bgl, or bgl 16.6

Also, it does not matter if the number nnn has digits in it or not, so it handles both mmol/L and mg/dL. Like 10.2 or 165.

This is currently experiment, but we'd love your feedback! How well does it work for you, are their new commands you would like added etc.
