Excelpipe, Error Look in Cells

Post by Elke »

Hi,
I use Excelpipe 2.7 and Excel 2003. I want to use ist to change Hyperlinks, because the server and the directory structure has changed.

When I use the option "Look in Cells" I get a error-box from Excel, that it cannot find data to replace. This error comes very often. After a while, excelpipe hangs.
When I activate "Look in Hyperlinks" Excelpipe starts, but it doesn't find all.

Second problem:
When I use the button "start replacing" it shows me, that a few changes are made. In fact when I look in the files, there are no changes made.

These problems are only with excelpipe. When I do the same in wordpipe, there is everything ok.
What ist wrong in excelpipe?
Thank you

When I make the tests 2 or 3 times, I get the message:
Exception EOleSysError in module excelpipe.exe at 00000000. Der RPC-Server ist nicht verfügbar. Is that the reason, why I have problems with excelpipe?

How can I send you the files?

Send it to our email address - just reply to the evaluation key email.

Do you have Excel installed?

This user never contact us, hence we were unable to correct the problem. It looks like they did not have Excel installed.
