Re: Unicode normalize filters?

Hi Simon,

I installed TextPipe 10.7 earlier today.

I have tested Normalize to NFC and Normalize to NFD on some suitable input files.

So far, I've not come across any problems, so I think this longstanding critical issue may well be fixed.

I'll probably test these filters on further data sets as time goes on.

Many thanks.

Hi Simon,

Aside:

The BabelPad Unicode text editor has a Convert menu Other option to Strip Diacritics from selected text.

I use BabelPad a lot. Highly recommended! And it's free, though you can send a donation if you find it useful.

Best regards,

David
