Until TextPipe Standard v8.9.3 there was always an Uninstall shortcut in the Textpad directory under the Start Menu.

From v8.9.4 onwards there is no Uninstall shortcut. To uninstall TextPipe one has to use the Control Panel.

Was there a particular reason to drop the Uninstall shortcut?

Yes, very few programs do it these days, and the TP Start Menu is especially cluttered, hence the removal.
