wildcard not working for a footer

Post by Neil Fleck »

I'm trying to replace footers with a variety of text with a new string in multiple powerpoints. Using just * with only footers selected, it doesn't find anything.

MS Powerpoint does not support wildcards.

You may be able to use the 'EasyPattern wildcard' setting, to find text of

Code: Select all

[ longest 1+chars ]
and then replace with your target text.
