The v10.0 installer doesn't warn that a 32-bit version of TextPipe is already installed when TextPipe x64 is selected

The v10.0 installer doesn't warn the user that a 32-bit version of TextPipe is already installed when TextPipe x64 is selected for installation.
Thus I ended up not with old files overwritten, but with a separate installation. See

The installation instructions on the DataMystic website secure area do not even hint about this potential problem.
The latest instructions no longer advise the user to Uninstall any previous version of TextPipe,
as it's indicated that installing to the same folder will overwrite existing files.
A user blindly accepting the installer defaults may not deliberately choose the Program Files (x86) folder to install TextPipe x64.
As v10.0 is the first version to have a 64-bit edition, most users updating from an earlier version are likely to experience the same surprises.
Best regards,
David
