1. The last two times I updated TextPipe, after it closed Windows Explorer, it did not restart Explorer. I had to launch Task Manager to close my other open programs, before doing a shutdown.
2. Now that you've dropped the option to Add TextPipe to the Windows Taskbar, please tweak the Uninstaller so that it stops deleting the shortcut from the Taskbar.
Best regards,
David

Re: TextPipe installation setup issues
There is currently no installer code to remove taskbar entries, so I am unsure whether this is occurring.
We have added installer entries to restart closed applications for 10.6.2.

Re: TextPipe installation setup issues
Hi Simon,
Were you looking in the wrong place?
The taskbar shortcut clearly disappears during the Uninstall process that happens automatically as part one of the the setup for TextPipe x32.
The Install process does not add it back again!
Best regards,
David
