Hey TextPipe Pro Experts,

I am having a problem converting UNICODE text files to ANSI. Here is the issue:

I have a large number of text files in several folders. Some of the files are in UNICODE format and others are in ANSI format. When I setup the UNICODE to ANSI filter, the UNICODE files get converted as expected. However, the ANSI files are also modified such that the contents of the file are replaced by "?" characters.

Is there any way to setup a UNICODE to ANSI filter that will convert only the UNICODE files while leaving the ANSI files untouched?

Look for new filters in the new version (due out this week)
- Restrict to ANSI files
- Restrict to Unicode UTF16 files
- Restrict to Unicode UTF32 files
