And the corrective action is?

Post by dfhtextpipe »

Dear Simon,

I still do not understand why TextPipe 8.0 stopped, even though TextPipe 7.9.5 works for my original filter.

Was this a bug in TextPipe 8.0, or simply advice to improve my filter?

Surely if TextPipe decides to stop when it encounters such inefficiency, it should provide better clarity in the log file? Isn't that still something for DataMystic to solve?

Best regards,

David Haslam

Hi David,

It does not stop, it just spends an exceptionally long time performing that processing. We made absolutely no code changes.
