We are searching numerous Word files at one time. These documents contain 2, and sometimes 3, sections. When we conduct a simple Search / Replace within both the Headers and Footers, Section 1 returns acceptable results. However, Sections 2 and 3 return results multiple times. For example:
Find: FRM
Replace with 00001-FRM
The results are as follows:
Section 1 Header and Footer: 000001-FRM
Section 2 Header and Footer: 000001-000001-FRM
How can we prevent this apparent looping and multiple replacements?
Thanks.

Hmmm. Looks like we need to update WordPipe so that it checks if the section header/footer is the same as for the previous section and to ignore it if so.

We've just released a test version of WordPipe that has this new feature- you can download it from
