Excel Replace not working for Footer with Copyright symbol

I'm trying to replace the following text in the left footer section of several Excel files:

©2004 Accenture. All Rights Reserved.

The "2 Files changed" tab shows that changes were made to the files, but when I open the files, they still have the above statement.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

Hi Chris,

Please send us a sample .xls file and your ExcelPipe settings (use File\Save As).
