The download instructions include this step.
Click here to enter your receipt number (########) into the registry (saving you time during the installation step)
This doesn't seem to do anything useful for Windows 7 (64 bit), in that even after merging this reg file,
one still has to enter the receipt number manually after installing the updated version for TextPipe Standard.

Re: Click here to enter your receipt number - bug?
Thanks David,
I can't imagine where Windows has decided to put these things now.
We're still getting to Windows7- can you please find where the TextPipe folder is in your registry? It used to be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DataMystic\TextPipe

It's still in the same place.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DataMystic\TextPipe
However, I think the registration key is stored somewhere other than the downloaded reg file puts it.
Merging that file adds the key to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DataMystic\TextPipe
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Crystal Software
but this is not examined by the application.
I found my own key here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DataMystic\TextPipe
so this must be how things are done differently in Windows 7.

Thanks David,
The online process now generates data for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\DataMystic\TextPipe
in addition to the original locations.

OK - I'll try this again during the next update of TextPipe.
