Filter will not perform as in Trial Run

I have a simple filter that I was using to replace hard returns with tabs. Works fine in the trial run, but much as I've tried, it won't work on the actual files. I've been using TextPipe a lot and have not encountered this problem before. Am wondering why this might be.

The answer is simple! - your files do not contain the same hard returns as the trial run area.

The solution is easy - just add a Filters\Convert\End of line characters filter at the top of the filter tree.
