I recently purchased DirDate and I have some questions
I used the command -dirdate -r -dirfix <folder>
As I double check the folder dates, I found some folder's dates wrong. It looks like DirDate ignored shortcut file dates when setting the folder date. Is the right?
Next Question
The readme file state -DIROLDEST Set folders to date of oldest file.
But WHICH folder date? The same with the option -DIRNEWEST
Does the option -DIROLDEST work like -the option -DIRFIX but only changing the folder's create date to the oldest file's date?
Please supply some details as to the options -DIROLDEST and -DIRNEWEST
Thank You

Re: DirDate Questions
Hi Ron,
-DIRNEWEST sets both the folder create and modify date to the date of the newest (ie most recent) file
-DIROLDEST sets both the folder create and modify date to the date of the oldest file
As for shortcuts (symbolic links), you are right, DirDate currently ignores these. It also ignores Compressed, Encrypted and Virtual files.
We will fix this for the next release.
