When you have a lengthy external file search/replace list, and once you're satisfied that it's been fully debugged,
it would be very convenient to have a reduced log option to log only the total number of replacements
rather than have a log entry for every line in the replace list.
Perhaps this option should only apply to external files, since the number of rows for the internal table is limited, it's less of a problem.
But if it's simpler to have it apply for either external file or internal table, I've no real objection.
There's ample room at the top of the filter pane for adding a second tickbox.
Best regards,
David

Re: Replace list filter - reduced logging option suggestion
This has been added for the next release. It is only available for the 'Simultaneous search' type in Exact Match mode, otherwise known as a matrix search/replace.
The normal consecutive search/replace either creates one long list of 'normal' filters, or joins multiple matches together, so there is no easy way to group the results together.
