TextPipe for askSam

I purchased TextPipe a while ago, but haven't gotten any documentation. And now I'm stuck.

I am trying to turn a date field into an askSam field by adding a delimiter. The askSam help files indicate I can do this through the import screen, by selecting edit filter. I tried this, but when I select the filetype of MS Word, the edit filter option goes away. Then, if I ignore filetype, and then edit the filter, TextPipe opens up and tells me I can't edit the filter.

Do you know what is going on? Do I need to contact the askSam people?

Hi Aimee,

TextPipe won't process Word documents - that's why askSam disables it.

All the TextPipe documentation is in electronic form, press F1 to access it from within TextPipe, or select it from TextPipe's Help menu, or from the Windows Start menu.
